The Fashion Diaries: Dress Code
Libby Andrew worked in the fashion and entertainment industries. First as the junior assistant under Anna Wintour at VOGUE magazine, and then as an assistant Editor in the fashion office, all the while making meticulous mental notes on the characters and interactions that make up American Vogue. She then worked briefly as the Fashion Editor with Nash Yacoub who began Platinum Magazine. Libby wore many hats at the start-up writing articles, conceiving creative ideas as well as overseeing many covers and photo shoots. Unfortunately the circumstances surrounding 9/11 inhibited growth of the national magazine as the economy suffered at that time. She then looked for a fresh start in Los Angeles and went on to work under executive producer Brian Grazer at Imagine Entertainment often visiting movie sets and coordinating directors, actors, and crew while absorbing as much as she could from her mentor about pop-culture and the inner workings of Hollywood. Currently she lives in Duxbury, Massachusetts with her husband, three children, 4, 3, and 1, and 2 Portuguese Water Dogs and continues to write The Fashion Diaries Series. Look for Lotions & Potions out in Fall 2013.
