Harvard Square celebrates its bookstores with bookstore strolls, music, dancing, performances, and birthday cake!
Join us in Harvard Square as actors perform scenes from A Midsummer Night’s Dream in front of our many wonderful bookstores — including a scene outside Harvard Book Store at 3pm.
Beginning at 4pm, the Harvard Square Business Association will be in the Pit giving out cake and ice cream to anyone who stops by!
At 4:30, join a free Shakespeare Slam at John Harvard’s until 5:30pm.

Walking from the Harvard Square T station: 2 minutes
As you exit the station, reverse your direction and walk east along Mass. Ave. in front of the Cambridge Savings Bank. Cross Dunster St. and proceed along Mass. Ave for three more blocks. You will pass Au Bon Pain, JP Licks, and TD Bank. Harvard Book Store is located at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Plympton St.
