Once again the great Commonwealth of Massachusetts has decided to give us all a reprieve from the state sales tax, meaning that purchases made in the state on August 13 and August 14 will be tax-free. (See www.mass.gov for the few restrictions.)
To make the bargains even better, Harvard Book Store is offering an additional 10% discount to our Frequent Buyers. This means that all purchases made by Frequent Buyers on August 13 and August 14, either at Harvard Book Store or online at www.harvard.com, will be both tax-free and discounted 10%. (And with August 12 being a Fiction Friday, this gives you a nice long weekend of great deals!) If you're not a Frequent Buyer yet, just ask at the register and we'll be glad to sign you up for this free program.
Please note that the sale does not compound the discount on already discounted items, and that self publishing fees are not included.
For online orders, please include "Frequent Buyer" in the comments field along with your Frequent Buyer number, if you have it.
Walking from the Harvard Square T station: 2 minutes
As you exit the station, reverse your direction and walk east along Mass. Ave. in front of the Cambridge Savings Bank. Cross Dunster St. and proceed along Mass. Ave for three more blocks. You will pass Au Bon Pain, JP Licks, and TD Bank. Harvard Book Store is located at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Plympton St.
