Come celebrate the Harvard Square Business Association’s 6th Annual Bookish Ball and Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebration on Saturday, April 20th. This free, indoor/outdoor, family-friendly festival includes a scavenger hunt, live music, Shakespearean performances, birthday cake, a sidewalk parade and special activities and promotions in our book stores!

At the intersection of Plympton Street and Massachusetts Avenue
Please join us as we fete two Harvard Square icons! The Harvard Book Store turns 80 and the Grolier Poetry Book Store turns 85! Dignitaries will be on hand to commemorate this special occasion. And just like all birthday parties, we will be serving up cake and ice cream to all attendees.
AND, as a special promotion, anyone who makes a purchase of $10 or more in the store on April 20 will receive a coupon for $5 off a future purchase (redeemable April 21 though July 21).
Walking from the Harvard Square T station: 2 minutes
As you exit the station, reverse your direction and walk east along Mass. Ave. in front of the Cambridge Savings Bank. Cross Dunster St. and proceed along Mass. Ave for three more blocks. You will pass Au Bon Pain, JP Licks, and TD Bank. Harvard Book Store is located at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Plympton St.
