Harvard Book Store is pleased to be publishing an anthology of the stories, plays, and essays written by the students who took part in Grub Street's Summer Teen Writing Fellowship. The anthology will be printed on Paige M. Gutenborg, our on-demand book-printing machine.
Grub Street, a non-profit creative writing center, throws open its doors one Saturday each month, offering free creative writing workshops to Boston-area teenagers, ages 14 to 18. Grub also hosts intensive paid teen writing camps and a Summer Teen Writing Fellowship, which immerses high school students in the writer's life of creative craft and publishing. The summer fellows work with published authors on original prose and poetry, meet with literary agents and editors, take field trips to inspirational locales like the ICA, and much more. At the end of the program, Grub Street publishes all the fellows’ writing in an anthology that celebrates the work they’ve accomplished. Read more about the program and Grub Street at grubstreet.org.
