Walking from the Harvard Square T station: 2 minutes

As you exit the station, reverse your direction and walk east along Mass. Ave. in front of the Cambridge Savings Bank. Cross Dunster Street and proceed along Mass. Ave. for three more blocks. You will pass Au Bon Pain, Toscanini’s, and the Adidas Store. Harvard Book Store is located at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Plympton St.

Walking from the Harvard Square T station: 10 minutes

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and look for the newsstand called Nini's Corner. Turn left and proceed along Brattle St. (you will pass the Greenhouse Restaurant). Follow Brattle St. as it curves to the right in Brattle Square (in front of the Eastern Mountain Sports store). Walk three blocks and turn right on Appian Way. Longfellow Hall is the red brick building on the left. Askwith Hall is located inside Longfellow, on the first floor.

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and look for the newsstand called Nini's Corner. Turn left and proceed along Brattle St. (you will pass the Greenhouse Restaurant). At the first corner where Brattle St. curves to the right, cross to the other side of Brattle St. (in front of the Eastern Mountain Sports store). The Brattle Theatre is located in the next building, below Café Algiers. The entrance is located down the steps to the left of the building.

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and look for the newsstand called Nini's Corner. Turn right and proceed north along Mass. Ave. going toward the Cambridge Common. You will pass the Harvard Coop, Fleet Bank, and CVS. Tuen left onto Garden Street towards the Cambridge Common. The Church is directly opposite the far end of the Common, on the left, next to the Sheraton Commander Hotel.

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and look for the newsstand called Nini's Corner. Turn right and proceed one block north along Mass. Ave. going toward the Cambridge Common. You will pass the Harvard Coop, Fleet Bank, and CVS. The First Parish Church is located at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Church St. Please enter through the front door of the church.

Walking from the Harvard Square T station: 4 minutes

Follow directions to Harvard Book Store. At the corner of Mass. Ave. and Plympton St., turn right onto Plympton and walk down the hill. Cross Bow St. and Mount Auburn Street. Harvard Hillel is at the intersection of Mount Auburn St. and Plympton St., on your right. To get to the entrance, walk up Mount Auburn (towards the center of Harvard Square) for twenty yards. Author readings most often occur in Beren and Smith Halls on the second floor.

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and enter Harvard Yard. Look for Memorial Hall at the other end of the yard, and walk past it to the corners of Kirkland and Quincy streets.
