Harvard Book Store and the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum are pleased to welcome Alan Alda to discuss his latest memoir, Things I Overheard While Talking to Myself. Mr. Alda will be in conversation with former Boston Globe columnist, Tom Oliphant. Due to the expected high demand for this event, tickets are available via a lottery system run by the Kennedy Library. Registration opened on July 16th on the Kennedy Library website and by phone. See below for more information. Registration is limited to two tickets per person. You will be notified in mid-August if you have been selected to attend and tickets will be mailed to you.

Alan Alda has earned international recognition as an actor, writer, and director. In 2005, he had the distinction of being nominated for an Oscar, a Tony, and an Emmy -- and making the New York Times bestseller list -- all in the same year. He appeared in Martin Scorsese’s The Aviator, for which he received a nomination for an Academy Award as well as a British Academy Award. Most recently Alda was elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in Cambridge, MA.
