For our first Winedown of the fall we join with New York Review of Books to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the NYRB Classics series. Edwin Frank, editor of the NYRB Classics, joins us to discuss the little-known literary treasures that populate the series. Over the last decade NYRB has selected over two hundred titles ranging through fiction, memoir, criticism, and reportage to shed light on authors and titles that may otherwise have fallen through the cracks. Almost every volume includes an introduction by an outstanding writer or scholar who further illuminates the featured text. Join us for a relaxing evening as we celebrate our great literary treasures; as always, wine will be served.
