This weekend we wish a very happy birthday to our distinguished neighbor across the street, as Harvard University celebrates its 375th anniversary. Visit Harvard 375 to view an anniversary photo book; video interviews with alumni, faculty, staff, and students; and for information about events for both the Harvard community and the public.
If you don't have plans for this weekend yet, drop by the Boston Book Festival for a full Saturday of literary activities. The weather is looking promising (knock on wood) and the line-up is stellar.
On this side of the river, tickets become available Saturday at noon for this year's Cambridge READS main event. On Tuesday, October 25th, Sebastian Junger will discuss his groundbreaking work of reporting War. Tickets are free, and can be picked up at Harvard Book Store and other locations in Cambridge.
