Harvard Book Store welcomes Emmy award-winning television host MARIA SANSONE for a discussion of her new book Oh $#!% What's for Dinner?: No-Fuss Weeknight Recipes You'll Swear By. She will be joined in conversation by Emmy award-winning journalist Colton Bradford of NBC10 Boston.

A Return to In-Person Events

Harvard Book Store is excited to be back to in-person programming. To ensure the safety and comfort of everyone in attendance, the following Covid-19 safety protocols will be in place at all of our Brattle Theatre events until further notice:

  • Face coverings are required of all staff and attendees when inside the venue. Masks must snugly cover nose and mouth. At venues where refreshments are served, attendees may briefly unmask when actively eating or drinki
  • To limit contact, books will be pre-signed by the author and can be purchased on-site at the event, while supplies last.

Emmy award–winning TV host, social media personality, lifestyle expert, and mom of two, Maria Sansone, knows that when it comes to weeknight dinners . . . the struggle is real.

Colton Bradford

Colton Bradford is an Emmy award-winning journalist and host who officially joined the NBC10 Boston news team as an anchor in July of 2022 following years as co-host and reporter for the station’s entertainment/lifestyle show "The Hub Today." Colton has reported on numerous issues across multiple NBC platforms, from food insecurities to the public education crisis in America, and even landed a few memorable sit-down interviews with icons like Dolly Parton and Tom Hanks. A familiar face and voice in the Greater Boston community, Colton moved to Boston at the age of 22 for a job hosting a nightly radio show before getting the chance to audition for "The Hub Today." He works closely with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and has helped to raise $2.5 million for the families, kids, and research being done there. He currently can be seen reporting on NBCLX and anchoring on NBC10 Boston on weekdays at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Walking from the Harvard Square T station: 10 minutes

As you exit the station, cross Mass. Ave. and proceed along Brattle St. Follow Brattle St. as it curves to the right in Brattle Square (follow the sidewalk on the right side of the street). The Brattle will be on the left-hand side of the street. The building is shared with Algiers Cafe and Alden & Harlow Restaurant, and the theatre entrance is on the left side of the building—look for the sidewalk poster case and marquee.

While we can't guarantee fulfillment of a signed book pre-order, our authors are almost always able to sign extra books to fulfill such orders.

  • Please note: online orders for signed copies must be placed at least one business day before the event. If you are ordering the day of, please call us instead.

Ordering a signed book by phone:

  • Call us at (617) 661-1515 and one of our booksellers will take your order. Specify you'd like a signed copy.
  • If you are requesting a personalized inscription and/or requesting your book be shipped, we'll need to take down credit card information. If you are planning to pick up the signed book in the store, you can pay on pick-up.

Can I request a personalized inscription?
Unless otherwise noted, we are happy to take requests for the author to sign your book to a specific person, but we can't guarantee it. If you do get a personalized inscription, the book will be non-returnable. We will require credit card information when you place the order.

Do signed books cost more?
There is no extra fee for a signed book!

Do I have to pick it up in the store, or can you deliver my signed book?
As with all web or phone orders, we can hold your book for in-store pickup, or ship it anywhere in the country.

I am planning to attend an author event. Do I need to pre-order a book?
No need. We'll be selling books at the event, and nearly all of our events include a signing at the end of the talk.
