Between the Sheets: Bookstore Romance Day Panel #1

Harvard Book Store's virtual event series welcomes award-winning authors ADRIANA HERRERA, ASHLEY HERRING BLAKE, KATEE ROBERT, and OLIVIA DADE for a discussion of their books and the romance community as a whole in celebration of Bookstore Romance Day. This panel is moderated by Sally Bremer—Marketing and Events Coordinator at Harvard Book Store.

Founded by bookseller Billie Bloebaum, Bookstore Romance Day is a day designed to give independent bookstores an opportunity to celebrate Romance fiction—its books, readers, and writers—and to strengthen the relationships between bookstores and the Romance community. We're thrilled to partner with indie bookstores across the country in dedicating a day to literature that transports, titillates, and always promises a happy ending. About Author(s)

Adriana Herrera was born and raised in the Caribbean and is a USA Today Best Selling author. She is an outspoken advocate for diversity in romance and is one of the co-creators of the Queer Romance PoC Collective. Her Dreamers series has received starred reviews from Publishers Weekly and Booklist and has been featured in The TODAY Show on NBC, Entertainment Weekly, NPR, Library Journal, and The Washington Post. Her debut, American Dreamer, was selected as one of Booklist’s Best Romance Debuts of 2019, and one of the Top 10 Romances of 2019 by Entertainment Weekly.

Ashley Herring Blake is an award-winning author. She holds a master’s degree in teaching and loves coffee, arranging her books by color, and cold weather. She is the author of the romance novel Delilah Green Doesn’t Care, the young adult novels Suffer Love, How to Make a Wish, and Girl Made of Stars, and the middle grade novels Ivy Aberdeen’s Letter to the World, The Mighty Heart of Sunny St. James, and Hazel Bly and the Deep Blue Sea. She’s also a coeditor on the young adult romance anthology Fools in Love. She lives on a very tiny island off the coast of Georgia with her family.

Katee Robert is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance and romantic suspense. Entertainment Weekly calls her writing “unspeakably hot.” Her books have sold over a million copies. She lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, children, a cat who thinks he’s a dog, and two Great Danes who think they’re lap dogs.

Olivia Dade grew up an undeniable nerd, prone to ignoring the world around her as she read any book she could find. Her favorites, though, were always, always romances. As an adult, she earned an M.A. in American history and worked in a variety of jobs that required the donning of actual pants: Colonial Williamsburg interpreter, high school teacher, academic tutor, and (of course) librarian. Now, however, she has finally achieved her lifelong goal of wearing pajamas all day as a hermit-like writer and enthusiastic hag. She currently lives outside Stockholm with her delightful family and their ever-burgeoning collection of books.

Sally Bremer is a Marketing and Events Coordinator at Harvard Book Store. She also serves as Executive Vice President of BookTalk, a virtual book nonprofit. She has been an avid reader her whole life and her current favorite genres are Romance and Fantasy. You can find her talking about books at @salpalreads on Instagram and TikTok.
