Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, has become part of the country's annual holiday shopping tradition. It's a day to encourage people across the country to support small, local businesses. Locally owned and independently run since 1932, Harvard Book Store is pleased to be a part of this celebration.

Members of our Frequent Buyer program who make a purchase in the store on Saturday, November 30, will get a free Shop Cambridge linen tote bag (while supplies last!) What is Small Business Saturday?

Small Business Saturday is an effort to encourage community members to "Shop Small"—to keep their communities thriving by choosing to shop at the small businesses in their neighborhoods. While Small Business Saturday is highlighted as a special day when we can show our support as a nation for small business owners and our communities, the Shop Small Movement is a year-round campaign to celebrate and support small businesses every day.
