Author Proposal Form

We are pleased to hear that you'd like us to consider carrying your book at the Harvard Book Store.

It is important to note that the store receives hundreds of requests to carry books every year. While we do our best to review each title to determine if it would make a good fit, we're not able to directly contact authors about any submissions. If we do choose to carry a book, we will contact the distributor's purchasing department directly, and copies of the book will be made available in our retail stores and/or on harvard.com as soon as they are received.

Please note that we do not accept physical books or manuscripts for consideration.

For a number of logistical reasons we do not order from wholesalers (such as Ingram Spark) as a primary source of books for the store. If your book is only available from Ingram we are unlikely to accept it. If this is the case and you are local, you may submit your book for our consignment program at harvard.com/consignment.
