Stories of Woe and Whoa: Two Years of Go Girl
In October 2009, five female adventurers started to document their vision of the world by creating an online magazine.
As women writers and solo travelers, their experiences were varied and vast and their stories were unique and thoughtfully rendered. They explored topics like becoming a grandmother in India, encountering albinism for the first time in Tanzania, and making friends in a new community.
Since then, Go Girl has grown into a community of more than 25 writers and 2,500 readers in over 100 countries across the world, giving a voice to women of many different backgrounds, cultures and beliefs.
This book is the first physical compilation of favorites from Go Girl's digital beginnings.
