The Gives Back program is a way for the Harvard Book Store to contribute to local organizations during the holidays. On each Sunday of the holiday season, a percentage of in-store and online sales will go to one of our selected charitable organizations.
Partners In Health is an international health organization relentlessly committed to improving the health of the poor and marginalized. They build local capacity and work closely with impoverished communities to deliver high-quality health care, address the root causes of illness, train providers, advance research and advocate for global policy change.
Working in partnership with local governments, Partners in Health deliver high-quality, comprehensive health care that saves lives while strengthening health systems and helping patients overcome socioeconomic barriers to good health. By leveraging the services they provide with rigorous evaluation and academic research, PIH develops innovative, scalable and sustainable solutions to some of the world’s most intractable health problems.
